YouTube plans a live dubbing pilot for early 2027
The pilot would let viewers listen to translated speech during a YouTube livestream.

YouTube previewed live automatic dubbing at Made On YouTube and said the pilot would start in early 2027. The feature is designed to translate a host’s speech during a broadcast. YouTube said that more than 40% of live watch time already comes from outside a creator’s home country.
The September announcement is a pilot plan. It does not establish which languages or channels will have access at launch. Teams planning a multilingual event should check availability when they book the stream.
Why it matters
For a live product demo, prepare a short glossary of product names, measurements and prices. Keep the critical details visible on screen and have a moderator ready to clarify an ambiguous translation in chat.
